Welcome to my classroom, home of the Can Do Kids!
I am very excited to have your child in my class this year and am looking forward to an incredible year full of learning, growth, and development. This is my 18th year teaching in Everett Public Schools and I feel privileged to spend each day doing what I believe to be some of the world's most important work. I began my teaching career at Cedar Wood Elementary where I taught kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade. Then, I had the honor of being a part of the core team that opened Forest View Elementary in 2007. It is such a joy to be a part of the wonderful community that has grown at Forest View over the last ten years. I received my Bachelor's degree from Western Washington University and my Master's degree from Antioch University. In 2007, I became a National Board Certified Teacher.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our seven year old daughter and our two Australian Shepherds, Jasper and Zephyr. I also enjoy doing traveling, doing hot yoga, reading, home improvement projects and photography.
I look forward to partnering with you this year to ensure a highly successful year for your child. Please feel free to contact with any questions regarding your child.
