Welcome to our school!

  • Hello Families,

We are excited to welcome students back to Hawthorne Elementary for the 2022-2023 school year. Last year was a tough year due to health regulations and protocols, and we are excited to open the year without any major restrictions. Students and staff have a lot to build on from last year, and we believe that students will make great academic strides this year.

If you are concerned about your child’s learning, please reach out to their classroom teacher. Every year we start by checking students’ current academic levels, adjust lessons for students and identify students who need additional support. We have intervention specialists in math, reading and behavior that are ready to support students in need. Your child’s classroom teacher is your best point of contact to initiate this type of support.

If your family is in need of assistance with basic needs, food, clothing, housing, counseling, or health care, please reach out to our main office. Our school has a full-time family support advocate, and we are the site for the Everett Public School Family Resource Center in North Everett. We are here to help. We are very confidential and discrete in supporting families.

Every day at school counts. Thank you for working to keep students healthy and able to attend school on a regular basis. To give your student the best chance of success, have them work on their i-Ready individual lesson plans at home. Communication is key, so please make sure to check your child’s backpack regularly and their blue folder every Wednesday for important forms and flyers. We look forward to partnering with you this school year.

    Sincerely,

    Mr. Ellsworth
