3/18/20 Thank you for checking this website during this strange and disruptive time caused by the Corona Virus. Ms. Howze and I are commited to staying in touch with all of our familes throughout the closure. As such, please refer to our established modes of communicating with parents and kids - Bloomz, email, and Google Classroom.
I cannot tell you how much I miss each and every one of my kiddos and cannot wait to see them again soon! In the meantime, please take care and be well.
Hello! I am so happy to be in my 21st year here at Jackson Elementary and 29th year in the Everett School District. Ms. Howze is my partner-in-crime out here in the 5th grade portables, and we love planning meaningful experiences for all of our kids. For now, let me tell you a little about myself.
I was born and raised in the Big Sky state of Montana. After graduating from the University of Montana in Missoula (Go GRIZ!), I moved to Everett in 1988. My two sons are the lights of my life. Alex is a UW grad and working in Seattle while Mitch works for both Snohomish County and the City of Everett. Both boys got their academic starts at Jackson! In my free time, I enjoy working in my yard, reading, and engaging in all kinds of little crafts. I guess my favorites are baking Monster Cookies and crocheting hats for the Jackson School Store.
