Forest View Elementary School

Fifth grade students, parent volunteers and fifth grade teachers, Debra Strong, Hailey Riehl and Tamra Nelson helped create information kiosks for our trail. Students painted kiosk posts with native plants and animals that live in the forest behind our school. As you walk on the trail with your smart phone, you can scan the QR code at the kiosk and it will take you to internet information on the plant or animal. One kiosk has information on how to identify a red-tailed hawk and the QR code brings up the call of the Red-Tailed Hawk.
