  • CIA Method

    Dear families,

    Here is a great resource that describes the CIA method of learning through engagement in great literature! We have done CIA's this year (4th Grade: Shiloh, and 5th Grade: Island of the Blue Dolphins and City of Ember) and the students have familiarity with this approach to learning. If they brought their ELA journal home, there are many resources inside that can be used as a framework in doing a CIA at home with a chapter book of your student's choice!
