Welcome to a fantastic year! 

I am very excited to have your student in my Primary (K-2) Life Skills Classroom!

This is my fifth year with the Everett School District, and my twenty-fifth year of teaching. Over the last eighteen years, I have taught special education as a self-contained classroom teacher! I previously taught 3rd, 4th and 5th grades. I earned my Bachelor's degree and endorsements from Western Washington University. I have been lucky enough to work in a wide variety of educational settings during my career, including para-educator, and behavior intervention specialist. I am also Nationally Board Certified as an Exceptional Needs Specialist.

I am so very fortunate to have the opportunity to support students with special needs and their families. With a wrap-around team approach, we work to ensure success for each student in our program.

In our Life Skills classroom you will find several amazing support staff members: Ms. Sheila, Ms. Claire, Ms. Gelan and Ms. Lauren. We also have wonderful agency staff supporting our room: Ms. Susie, Ms. Jewel and Ms. Jaime!
