Originally built in 1925, North Middle is one of our city’s first schools. First opened as North Junior High, our school has progressed through three distinct buildings. Our 1925 site was later expanded to include needed classroom space and additional parking. The original building served for decades before a second building replaced the original in 1980. In 2016, voters across our community approved a $150 million bond measure that included $50 million in funding for a needed, third version of our North campus. Renovations included a two-story building with 30 classrooms, an expanded parking lot, and upgrades to our track, field, gym, and cafeteria/commons. Construction on our current campus concluded in fall, 2019. Proudly, our 2024/2025 school year is the 100th serving our North community.
