New Student Enrollment
-
Welcome to Everett Public Schools. We are using Online Enrollment to assist in enrolling new students. This system allows parents to enroll their students using any computer or mobile device, which takes approximately 30 minutes.
If you need to find which school your child should attend, please click Find My School & Route.
⇑ If your high school student is an athlete, check with the athletics director at their new school to verify continued eligibility to participate in athletics.
If you have multiple children, the system will give you the option to share some of the information from the first enrollment in order to save time. The system saves packets in process, so you can exit and return to complete the process later.

Have Documents Ready
-
Scanned or photographed copies of your documents can be uploaded. This can save you a trip to the school office. If you do not have electronic copies of your documents, you can still register online; you will just need to bring your documentation in to the school to complete your enrollment submission. It is helpful if you are using your phone to enroll online to take pictures of your documents with your phone before you begin.

First Grade Enrollment
-
All children enrolling in first grade must be 6 years old by midnight on August 31 of that school year. This is the state uniform entry age.
If your child is born after August 31 and before November 1 of that school year and has successfully completed a state-approved kindergarten program of 1,000 or more hours, you can enroll your child in first grade following these steps:
- Parent/guardian completes top portion of First Grade Early Entrance Waiver Request form.
- Your child’s state-approved kindergarten program completes the remainder of the form and sends it with a copy of your child’s final progress report to: Community Resource Center – P-5 Early Learning Programs - Attention Jodi Madison by June 30
- Parent/guardian emails proof of age and recent proof of address to Jodi Madison at jmadison2@everettsd.org by June 30.
- The placement will be provisional until the thirtieth calendar day following the student’s first day of attendance. A final determination of placement will be made at that time.
