As a parent/guardian, how can I see grades, attendance, assignments online?
First step is to set-up your LMS Guardian account.
If you are newly enrolled and you provided your email to the school, please look for an email from LMS@everettsd.org with subject “Welcome Parent / Guardian to Everett Public Schools” to start setting up your parent/guardian account. This account will give you access to Gradebook, Home Access Center and Canvas to support your student.
If you cannot find this email anymore, open a Tech Support Ticket. We will respond with your login/password by email during office hours. Our system will only send information to the email on file with the school.
-
I forgotten my password for Gradebook, Home Access Center or Canvas Parent. How can I reset?
If your challenge questions are up to date on your guardian account, you can follow the steps below to reset your own password.
1. Go to Password Management Tool (https://arms.everett.k12.wa.us/)
2. Click on "Need help?
3. Select "Forgot Password" and follow prompts.
- Enter your username: Username is traditionally your first initial, period, last name such as J.Doe for John Doe.
- Answer your security question responses and create a new password.
If these steps do not work, please open a Tech Support Ticket. We will respond with your login/password by email during office hours. Our system will only send information to the email on file with the school.

Why do I need to set-up my LMS Parent/Guardian account?
Using your LMS parent/guardian account, you can access the following systems:
- Gradebook provides parents and students real-time information including assignments, grades and attendance.
- Home Access Center provides parents and students access to basic demographics, attendance, current year report cards (secondary only), transcripts (secondary only), discipline, IEP plan and transportation information. In addition, parents can update their email or phone and access the Online Enrollment portal to enroll a new student.
- Canvas is used by teachers to deliver course content, organize online resources, host online discussions and more.
-
How do I update my contact information?
You can make changes to the phone number of your child or your own contact information if you are a guardian who lives with the student. If you are a guardian with web access, you can update your own phone number online at Home Access Center. Go to the "Registration" tab, then go to the "Update Enrollment" tab, select the "Annual Update Form" or "Student Update Short Form".
For all other information updates you will need to contact your student’s school. Additional guardian(s) whom you would like to authorize to have access to student information online require the primary guardian to contact the school. All additional guardians should be prepared to show personal identification and parenting plan, if applicable.
