    Everett Public Schools has just launched a new Student Information System called Synergy.  

    On July 29, 2025, parents/guardians received an email with instructions on how to activate their ParentVUE account. ParentVUE is how families will access their student’s school information. Please activate your account as soon as possible because the unique link in the email is only active for 30 days. 

     

    What is the difference between ParentVUE and ParentSquare? 

    We know the names are similar, but ParentVUE and ParentSquare provide two different important functions. ParentVUE gives families access to important student information. ParentSquare is where all communication from schools, teachers and the district is squared away. 

     

    How will students access their information? 

    Before school starts, students will be able to log into StudentVUE the same way they have accessed Canvas and Gradebook in the past. To log in, students click on “Grades and More” on their school’s website. 

     

    What is a Student Information System (SIS)? 

    A Student Information System (SIS) is a program schools use to keep track of important information about students and teachers. Our old SIS was called eSchoolPlus. A SIS helps us with things like: 

    • Signing students up for school
    • Assigning them to teachers and classes
    • Storing medical and academic information
    • Managing other day-to-day school data 

    It also connects to other digital tools we use, like Canvas, Clever, iReady, and Panorama, so everything stays up to date. 

     

    What’s Changing? 

    Families will now use ParentVUE and students will use StudentVUE. It is a more modern system that combines many of our current tools into one program. 

    With Synergy: 

    • Staff only need to learn one system
    • Most tasks can be done in one place
    • It will save time and make things easier
