    Scribe Reviews 2025: Details, Pricing, & Features | G2

The LMS department is using a tool called Scribe.com to create dynamic how to guides for our upcoming Synergy Training in May/June.

On February 14th we will be pushing out the Scribe Extension to all staff.

You will be able to access basic How To Scribes without using the extension.

However, if you create an account to sign into the Scribe extension you’ll have the added benefit of using the Sidekick/Guide Me feature. This allows you to have the Scribe open next to the Synergy window you are working in and as you click on the correct Synergy buttons it will move you through the Scribe automatically.

This extension and Sidekick/Guide Me will be especially helpful if you’ll be learning on a laptop or only have access to one screen.

More information about signing onto the extension will be coming closer to February 14th and will not immediately needed until training begins at the end of May.

If you’d like to add the Scribe extension yourself you can check out this Scribe (How to Install Scribe Extension for Chrome).

Our Student Information Systems (SIS) staff is currently being trained and are working on the configuration and setup tasks needed to make Synergy work for Everett Public Schools. As we learn more, we are developing the training that will be provided for staff beginning this spring.

    Training goals:

    • Offer choice: Offer both in-person and asynchronous learning options as well as multiple dates and times to give staff the flexibility to learn in ways that are best for them
    • Create opportunities for repetition: The first round of training will occur in the Spring and then a 2nd round of refresher training in August and into the Fall.
    • Provide support in multiple modes: All staff will have access to the resources in the asynchronous course as well as on-demand how-to videos and visual/text directions. Open office hours will be available after we go live with Synergy for drop-in assistance.

Training Groups: all of these groups currently interact with our SIS systems. Each group will receive role-specific training. If you use one of tools Synergy will replace, but don't feel you are represented in one of these groups, please put in a help desk ticket and let us know.
