Welcome to Early Learning

  • Creating safe, healthy, nurturing learning experiences for all children in our community is our goal. We strive to achieve that goal by focusing our work on a child's earliest years at home, in child care, school programs and community.

At birth, babies are already beginning to make sense of their world. Early learners experience more extraordinary growth, and thus potential, for learning than at any other point in their lives.

On these pages you will find valuable resources to inform, connect and guide you to early learning opportunities in our community. You are your child's first teacher. Early learning is about the whole child. Have fun exploring and learning!

See the Washington State Early Learning Guide to learn more about birth through third-grade development.
