Preschool Options

  • Everett Public Schools offers two preschool options within the district:

    • Developmental Preschool for children ages 3 to 5 who have been identified through Child Find as having a developmental delay or disability. For more information, please see the Child Find information page.
    • ECEAP, a free preschool program funded by the state of Washington. It serves low-income families and children who have environmental and developmental risk factors. For more information, please see the ECEAP information page.

    Child Care Aware of Washington


    Child Care Aware provides information about licensed preschool and child care programs in our area.  They may be reached at 1-800-446-1114. Their Resource Specialists will assist you in your search free of charge.

    Head Start

    Head Start is a federally funded free preschool program for children and families. 
     
    Head Start is designed to foster healthy development in low-income children.  Program grantees and delegate agencies deliver a range of services, responsive and appropriate to each child's and each family's heritage and experience, that encompass all aspects of a child's development and learning.
