Community Use of Facilities

Everett Public School facilities are available for use by a wide variety of community groups in accordance with the district’s Fee Schedule 6115S, school Board Policy 4333, and Procedure 4333P, and as noted below.
All facility users must comply with health department or governmental requirements related to COVID-19 regarding group size, personal protective equipment, social distancing, and other requirements. The district reserves the right to deny or cancel a facility use request if such users fail to comply with applicable requirements.
Community use of facilities may be reduced or cancelled at any time by the district for any reason in its sole discretion. This may occur if/when district facilities are needed to respond to district program requirements, custodial staffing needs, community food service or daycare program needs, assistance for governmental health agencies, or emergencies such as COVID-19.
Outdoor facilities are open for community use after school hours. This includes athletic fields, playfields, tracks, covered play areas, playgrounds, and play equipment, and unscheduled, occasional use of outdoor facilities is also allowed. Grass fields throughout the district may be closed at certain times when undergoing regularly scheduled grounds renovation activities such as aerating, thatching, fertilizing, and overseeding.
Cafeterias, libraries, kitchens, and Community Resource Center conference rooms are open for community use. Community use of the Everett Civic Auditorium will be limited to 2 days per week (Saturday and Sunday) for practices and performances.
Classrooms are not open for community use at this time.
Beginning November 1, 2021, gymnasiums will be open for community use at the following times
- 3 days per week (M/W/F) for practices or other activities, maximum 25 persons at a time, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. No use of locker rooms will be allowed.
- 1 day per week (Saturday) for games or competitions, maximum 90 persons at a time, 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

It is important to review Procedure 4333 prior to requesting facility use.
Seasonal athletic facility use requests are not scheduled through the online scheduling system. Instructions and all forms needed can be found on the Athletic Field/Gym Seasonal Page.
Facility use should be requested no later than two weeks prior to your desired use start date, to allow time for processing.
Everett Civic Auditorium facility requests are required no later than 60 days prior to the intended use.
