Welcome to Community Services
Everett Public Schools outdoor facilities are currently open only for certain activities due to Governor Inslee’s orders and Washington State’s Safe Start plan for COVID 19.
School grounds are open to certain activities: We are doing our best in these uncertain times to continue to allow our outdoor facilities to be enjoyed by our community in ways that are safe and consistent with governmental directives. Although we are not currently scheduling or allowing our outdoor facilities to be used for organized activities, we are continuing to allow our community to use our fields and tracks, playgrounds and covered play areas for unscheduled individual or small group activities such as walking, running, exercising or playing as long as physical distancing requirements and any restrictions on gatherings and group sizes are followed. The current Safe Start phase 2 requirements state that gatherings of any kind must be limited to no more than five people outside a household per week, and other restrictions may apply as well. Repeated or flagrant violations of these requirements may prompt closure of our outdoor facilities to all community use.
Additionally – Grass fields throughout the district may be closed at certain times while undergoing regularly scheduled grounds renovation activities such as aerating, thatching, fertilizing and overseeding.
Please remember to follow the governmental mandates and stay at home except when necessary and to physically distance yourselves 6-feet apart! We care about you and hope you stay safe and well.
At this time the Community Services department is not taking any new facility use reservations. With our school closures, many district events were canceled with hopes of rescheduling. School district events will have scheduling priority once we are able to return to regular school district operations.
We appreciate your understanding and wish you and your family well. Stay Home, Stay Healthy.
It is important to review Procedure 4333 prior to requesting facility use.
Seasonal athletic facility use requests are not scheduled through the online scheduling system. Instructions and all forms needed can be found on the Athletic field/gym seasonal page.
