Can I request facility use during the COVID 19 pandemic?
Outdoor facility use is open and available for scheduling. Indoor facility use is currently closed at this time. Below if the schedule for reopening indoor facility use to our community.
Plan for Resumption of Community Use of Indoor Facilities (Updated August 17, 2021)
Phase 1 – October 1, 2021 (Online Submissions may begin Sept. 15, 2021)
Cafeterias, libraries, kitchens, and CRC conference rooms (of varying sizes), and Everett Civic Auditorium are open to community use.
Phase 2 – November 1, 2021 (Forms for mass scheduling due Sept. 15th to Community Services)
Gymnasiums (all grade levels) are open to community use. When school is in session locker rooms are available for community use only on weekends to allow time for cleaning/sanitizing before the next school day.
Phase 3 – January 1, 2022
Classrooms (all grade levels) are open to community use
A Certificate of Insurance (COI), naming Everett Public Schools, its employees and its agents as additional named insureds, providing comprehensive general liability insurance, including personal injury and property damage, and automobile liability (when applicable) in amounts not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence and $3,000,000 in the aggregate or a combined single limit of $3,000,000 shall be submitted at least two week before facility use begins. Coverage shall not be canceled or modified without 45 days prior written notice to Everett Public Schools. If self-insured, User must provide proof-of-insurance coverage acceptable to Everett Public Schools for the purpose of the rental.
