I am Mrs. Lofgren and I am so excited about working with my 5th graders and their families this year!  

A bit about me... This is my 11th year working at Silver Lake. I originally taught 4th grade for several years and then decided to transition to instructional coaching for 8 years. As the school’s math coach, I was able to teach in nearly all the classrooms over the years and have worked with most of the students in some capacity. Although I loved this position, last year I was ready to return to the classroom. I missed having my own students! I instantly became passionate about teaching 5th graders and bridging the gap between elementary and middle school.

As well as being a teacher, I am also a parent of two mini mustangs (Ronny a 4th grader and Macy a 1st grade). We are a UW family (Go Dawgs!) and spend almost all our free time on the lake or the mountain.
