Welcome to Highly Capable 4/5!  We have an exciting year ahead of us filled with new ideas, learning, and of course, a lot of excitement!

 

Hi, My name is Carrine Buitrago and I truly love being a part of the View Ridge Family.  I was born and raised in Monroe, WA.  I graduated from the University of Washington in 2007 with a Bachelors degree in Global Studies.  I received my Master's in Education from the University of Washington in 2011.  I joined Everett Public Schools as a substitute in 2011, and am currently in my 11th year of teaching 4th and 5th graders.  I look forward to building new relationships as we embark on a new adventure this year.  My role in the classroom is to motivate, encourage, and educate your learners so that they may achieve high standards and contribute to our classroom, school, and global community.

 

Personally, I have a son in 6th grade, and a 6 month old! When I'm not in my classroom you can find me hanging out with my family, playing board games or outdoors with my son, hiking, walking, or reading a good book. 

 

As the year goes on I will add new information and resources that you will find useful to helping your child have a successful school year.
