• We have spent a lot of time in 1st grade doing different types of writing: narrative, information and how to, and opinion writing. The links below provide different writiing planning sheets to help your child with their writing. Maybe they want to tell a story (narrative), or write about their favorite animal (information), they could teach someone how to do something (how to..), or maybe they have an opinion about something and want to share it (opinion).  The forms can be printed and written on or your child can use them as a guide for their writing. I am excited to read what they write about!
