    COVID 19 Update:
    Dear Students and Parents,
For the foreseeable future the best way to stay up to date in our class is to check your Canvas daily. All updates and lessons will be posted in the Assignments section of your Canvas. I will also email students almost daily and of course feel free to email me.
Most importantly, stay safe and healthy...

I'm looking forward to seeing you all again soon.

    Update: March 20, 2020

    Hello Parents,

I wanted to take a minute and update you on some thoughts pertaining to our history classes. I will be sending emails out to parents specifically at least once a week, please watch for them. Second, I've decided going forward that all class emails with assignment ideas and learning resources will be sent to both students and parents. As for individual emails from students, I will respond to those in a one to one communication. If you want a response, could you please ask your student to include you on the email and I'll respond to all. Please feel free to email me at any time.

Second, I'm updating my school website almost daily and will be providing links for both parents and students in the Quicklinks section. Students will receive their assignments on Canvas.

Third, being that this is going to be an extended absence from school for all of us, starting next week I will be getting grades from before we left school updated. I will be assigning makeup work to students who are failing history so they can be caught up on our return or have a passing grade at the end of the semester should this alternative education period carry us into summer. An example is that if a student failed a test on Ben Franklin, I will ask them to research and do a write up on Ben Franklin. Also, any missing work from before this absence can be made up and submitted for a full grade.

Most importantly, I hope everyone stays healthy and safe during this ordeal.

    Thanks, Mr. O'Neil

Okay students, it appears the problems with our Canvas pages has been fixed. You can now view Assigments in the side menu and all links should be working.
