Welcome to a fantastic year of Second Grade! 

I am very excited to have your student in my class this year and am looking forward to a year full of learning, growth, development, building relationships, and also having fun!

My name is Mrs. Smith.  I have taught second grade (this will be my 15th year), first grade (taught for 3 years), kindergarten (taught for 2 years), and reading intervention specialist (taught for 3 years).  Most of those years were in Granite Falls.  This is my 6th year in Everett School District.

I love making/stamping cards, caramel mochas, and quilting!  I have a son and daughter, a husband, and 3 stepsons.  Yes, our house is LOUD!  In addition, we have 2 cats and a dog.

I look forward to building relationships with each of my students and their families as well as helping students grow in their learning and development.  I am always amazed at their eagerness to learn and the progress they make!
