    I am very excited to have your student in my class this year
     
     
    My name is Melissa Vargas. This 2020-2021 school year is my eighth year teaching. I am looking forward to a year full of learning, growth, and development.
     
    Getting to Know Ms. Vargas 

    I grew up in Toppenish, WA and attended Yakima Valley Community College where I earned my Associates Degree.  Then I moved to Kirkland, WA and attended Western Washington University’s Extension campus in North Seattle.  I taught 4th grade at Madison Elementary for a year, and at View Ridge for five years, then transferred to Woodside.  Even though I did not attend Washington State I am a huge Coug fan and love my Seahawks!

    Getting in Touch with Ms. Vargas 

    I will be available in the classroom in the mornings from 8:00-8:30 and after school from 2:50-3:30. I may occasionally be out of the room for meetings or errands in the building.
