• Mme. Richardson logo Bonjour et Bienvenue!

I am thrilled to teach French at Cascade High school and am always excited to welcome new students to the French classroom! I have been teaching French for 20 years and am truly passionate about language learning. After receiving my B.A. in French from Wittenberg University, I received my first M.A. in Teaching & Learning and my second M.A. in French Language Teaching, which I completed in Angers, France. In 2006-07, I taught high school English in Verdun, France as a participant in the Fulbright Teacher Exchange program. More recently, I completed my National Board Certification in French. In the summer of 2018 I received a Fund for Teacher's Fellowship and spent a month exploring the south of France and living with a host family. My interests include travel, reading, playing the piano, baking, et bien sûr, le français!

**During our school closure, I will be providing French learning and enrichment opportunities for students on Google Classroom. Students can access their online textbook and all associated resources for practice and tutorials. I will also be using remind.com to send out notifications. All students and parents are welcome to join remind. The join link can be found on the Google Classroom website: Google Classroom

Please note that all students are already enrolled in Google Classroom, but parents are also welcome to join! Please contact me with any questions at rrichardson@everettsd.org.
