View Ridge Elementary School opened in 1954 and was expanded in 1982. A variety of improvements from 2000 through 2004 included more efficient lighting, seismic upgrades, carpeting and heating systems. Thanks to voter approval of the 2006 construction bond, View Ridge was completely rebuilt for opening in 2012. The new multi-level school features energy-efficient lighting and natural light views worthy of its name.
