• We are happy to announce that the Forest View Library will be open for student reading and checkout this summer! Please see information below. In addition, please be sure to visit our district website for more summer learning activities. Be sure to record your summer reading using our districts summer learning survey. Students who record a response will be able to help our school library by 'voting' for books for our library to purchase come Fall.

When is the Summer Library open?

Starting on Tuesday, June 25th, and running through Tuesday, August 27th, the library will be open every Tuesday from 9:00 AM-11:00 AM.

What can my child do during Summer Library?

Students will have the chance to read and check out books. This is a great chance for our students to dive into new genres, discover new authors, and cultivate a lifelong love of reading.

How many books can my child check out during Summer Library?

Students will be allowed to check out up to 5 books every week. Books are due before your child may check out more books.

Who can come to Summer Library?

All current Forest View students and their families are welcome. Please plan to stay with your child the whole time that they are reading and checking out books. Siblings are welcome too!

      Why should my child participate?

Reading over the summer can help students maintain their reading skills, prevent summer learning loss, and prepare them for the next school year. Plus, it's a lot of fun! Thank you for your continued support of our library program. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.
