Hello and welcome to online learning opportunities!

During the weeks of the school closure in response to the Corona (COVID-19) virus, I will be providing my students and their parents/guardians with some online learning opportunities.  While I will not be assigning any new assignments for a grade, I will post questions that you can explore as well as sites and resources to do this.  Additionally, we will be able to meet "virtually" through the Zoom website.

Beginning Monday, March 24, I will post a new module each week in Canvas denoted by date.  Students and their parents/guardians may access these learning opportunities and instructions via Canvas, however you normally log in.  You will find links to Canvas below.  Please note that my US History classes are all listed as one, so no matter what class period your child is enrolled in, it will read "first period US History."  This works for all regular US History students.  My EL sheltered US history class has its own link.

I know that these times are very strange!  While I've lived through the eruption of Mt. St. Helens and 9/11, this pandemic is a whole new experience.  We will navigate this together.  Please be patient with me as I learn how to create this new way of learning.  I will do my very best to continue to offer parents and students informative and thoughtful opportunities to exercise our minds.

Please take good care of yourselves and your families.  The health and wellness of all is our society's biggest priority right now.

I will check my teacher email Monday-Friday.  Please feel free to contact me for any reason.  I will get back to you!

    Be well, Mrs. McPherson
