Mrs. Park -Tambark Math Coach

  •

Welcome to Tambark Creek Elementary!  I believe that a good learning experience is built on a cooperative effort between parent, child and teachers.  I look forward to working with students and families as the STEM Specialist.

I graduated in 2004 from the University of Washington and then studied to receive my Master in Teacher from US in 2006.  I received my Professional Certification through Seattle Pacific University in 2011.  I have had the opportunity to teach in South Korea and Uzbekistan working with students from diverse backgrounds- both in Korean and English.  I have been with Everett Public Schools since 2006.  Over the years, I have taught first and second grades at Penny Creek and have worked as a librarian, math specialist and PE at Woodside Elementary.  After the past six years as an instructional coach at Tambark, this is my first year as a STEM specialist.

Outside of school, I am busy with my three kids.  We spend our weekends at soccer games, taekwondo and making music together.  We love to sing, play guitar, piano, drum and jam together.

My goal is to help support students to make learning interactive, engaging and meaningful for our next generation of innovators.  Parents, if you would like to volunteer in the STEM lab at Tambark, please email me.
