     Summer Training

    Running Goal = 500 miles

    Beginners = 20 - 30 minutes 4 days a week 

    Intermediate = 45 - 60 minutes 5 days a week (work in hills and tempo)

    Advanced = 1 - 1.5 hours 6 days a week (work in hills and tempo)

    Increase your mileage 10% each week (10 miles one week will be 11 miles the next week)


    Include: Strength (50 - 100 push-ups and sit-ups per day) and Weight training.

    On off days include Cross-Training: 1 mile run = 4-mile bike ride = .25-mile swim

    Sat, Oct 9 - NIKE HOLE IN THE WALL XC INVITATIONAL
