I am so excited to be part of the Cedar Wood community. For the past nineteen years I have taught in the Everett School District. My experience includes teaching kindergarten, second grade, and being a reading specialist. I am currently teaching full day kindergarten at Cedar Wood. My training in education includes receiving my National Board Teaching Certification in 2008 and also renewed in 2018.

For my Bachelor's Degree and Masters of Arts in Teaching, I attended Oregon State University (Go, Beavers!) where I met my husband Terry Coleman. He is currently the counselor at Heatherwood Middle School just down the street. We have three children who have all attended Cedar Wood. Brooklyn is now a junior at Jackson High School, Micah is a freshman at Jackson, and Ravenna is in seventh grade at Heatherwood. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and watching my children play sports (volleyball, basketball, baseball, wrestling, track & boxing).
