Hello! I am excited about the 2024-20025 school year and teaching fifth grade highly capable again this year. Sometimes I wonder where the time went, especially when I realize this will be my eighteenth year at Cedar Wood and I have over 30 years of teaching experience. I have taught every grade from first through eighth (along with a summer school program that included high school-age students). I am a graduate of Everett Public Schools and I believe this is the best district anywhere. I received my teaching certificate from Western Washington University, a Masters' Degree from City University, and I am a National Board Certified Teacher.

My connection to Everett Public Schools runs deep, as my mom taught in the district and both of my boys graduated from EPS. The education my children received here allowed them to successfully pursue higher education. My youngest is beginning his sophomore year of college at Western Washington University. Go Vikings!

I love the ocean, coffee, Seahawks and spending time with my family and friends.
