Welcome to Ms. Whipple's Kindergarten Class

  • Tammy Whipple I am so excited to be a part of the Cedar Wood community and teaching Kindergarten grade. I have been teaching in the Everett School District for the past 20 years. I started my career in the intermediate grades, but 10 years ago I transitioned into the primary grades. I wanted to teach primary so I could help build a strong foundation in our early learners.    
     
    I graduated from Western Washington University with my Bachelor's degree and teaching certificate in June 1999. I completed my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in Written Language in 2002 from the University of Washington. In 2008, I received my National Board Teaching Certification.
     
    Along with teaching my other passions include yoga, running, traveling, and golfing. I even learned how to scuba dive! I believe that life is an adventure, and I am so happy to be a part of your child's first grade adventure!
