Welcome

  • News about Online Instructional Resources!

Thank you for being so flexible during this time when we are all learning together!  Please read below to learn how you can assist your child with online learning activities at home through Google Classroom and iReady.  The posted activities are optional, a review of content already taught and will not be graded.

Math- Students will be assigned a learning sheet for each day.

Reading- Students will be asked to read thirty minutes from a book of their choice, and at times, per the work posted on Google Classroom, be asked to read a posted text and answer questions.  As a follow up to their reading, students may be asked to retell some of what they read to family members or post comments on the Classroom site.

Writing- Daily prompts are available.  Students should complete these prompts in journals, on paper or typed each day.  As we have been working on writing more, students should write a paragraph and may include a drawing or illustration.

iReady- Students should complete at least 45 minutes of Math and 45 minutes of Reading instruction each week on iReady. This should be more than enough time to complete two lessons per subject area.

Learning activities will begin to be posted on March 23rd, and please know we are all learning this platform together.

If you have questions or concerns, I will try my best to answer them. Please note, it may take up to 24 hours to respond to any emails as I might need to research the answer.
