Welcome to the Emerson Elementary Literacy Webpage! It is my hope that this site will provide you with ways to help your child become an avid reader and writer. Reading is an important part of your child's day here at school, but we hope it is also an important part of their day at home as well. The best thing you can do to help your child improve their reading is to make sure that your child is reading at home for at least 20 minutes a day everyday! That means on weekends and during our breaks! 

During the school closure, I will be supporting teachers as they plan and provide learning engagement opportunities for students. I will also update this page regularly with district resources for families.
