    News about Online Instructional Resources!

Thank you for being so flexible during this time when we are all learning together!  Please read below to learn how you can assist your child with online learning activities at home through Google Classroom and iReady.  The posted activities are a mix of already taught content as well as newer content.  No grades will be given, but feedback can be provided.

Math- Students will be assigned multiple lessons weekly with practice sheets reinforcing the skills taught in the lesson.  Exit slips will also be included with lessons.

Reading- Students will be asked to read thirty minutes from a book of their choice, and at times, per the work posted on Google Classroom, be asked to read an online Reach for Reading text and answer questions.  As a follow up to their reading, students may be asked to retell some of what they read to family members or post (in comments or on a doc) within the Classroom site.

Writing- Daily prompts are available.  Students should complete these prompts in journals, on paper or typed each day.  As we have been working on writing more, students should write a paragraph and may include a drawing or illustration.

iReady- Students should complete at least 45 minutes of Math and 45 minutes of Reading instruction each week on iReady.  Per the suggested schedule, students should complete 1 lesson in Reading and 1 lesson in Math daily.

If you have questions or concerns, I will try my best to answer them. Please note, it may take up to 24 hours to respond to any emails as I might need to research the answer.
