• Welcome to 1st grade!

    My name is Natalie Rodriguez, and I am thrilled to be starting my first year teaching at Emerson Elementary. I am committed to building and strengthening our class community in order for ALL our students to feel represented, valued and safe in the classroom.

     

    About Mrs. Rodriguez 

    I graduated from the University of Washington Bothell (Go Dawgs!) with a Bachelor's degree in education as well as my K-8 teaching certificate. I also graduated with an endorsement in English as a second language, where I primarily focus on implementing multilingual strategies into the general education curriculum. I am a first generation daughter of immigrant parents from Mexico. In my free time I enjoy reading books, going to soccer games, hiking and watching movies!

    Food: Mexican and Greek food! 

    Drink: Iced white chocolate Mocha & Caramel macchiato
