I am very excited to be a part of Emerson and to be teaching art!

I teach art to all Kindergarten through 5th grade students once a week. My goal is to introduce students to a variety of art mediums, support them in their creative process, and empower them to take risks, try new things, and learn from mistakes.

I graduated from Western Washington University. I live in Everett with my husband and our two boys. We love spending time outdoors and traveling. In my free time, I enjoy reading, working out, and learning to cook and bake new foods.

I am also an Everett Public Schools alum! I attended Hawthorne Elementary, North Middle School and graduated from Cascade High School.

I am happy to be here and look forward to a wonderful year of creativity and learning.
