Welcome to Mrs. Miri's Class

  • Marina Miri Welcome to another fantastic year! 

    I am very excited to be a part of Emerson and teaching ART! 
     
    I graduated from Western Washington University in 2008 with a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Child Development. In September of the same year, I was hired as a kindergarten teacher at Woodside Elementary school. 
    In 2016, I became an art specialist at Emerson Elementary school. I miss having a classroom of my own. However, I get to work with K-5 students all day long. 
     
    I live in Everett with my husband and our two kids, both boys! We love to be active outdoors.
    During my free time I enjoy reading, running and baking! 
    When I was a student, I attended Hawthorne Elementary, North Middle school and graduated in 2003 from Cascade High school.
