Hello and welcome!

I am Alyx Montiel, one of the 6th grade science teachers at Evergreen!

I am originally from Montana, but graduated from Central Washington University with a B.A. in Elementary Education and a minor in Geology (because it rocks). I enjoy going to concerts, cooking, reading, watching hockey games, and exploring new places with my husband. 

My dream for this year is to create a safe, welcoming, and engaging learning environment for my students where we can laugh and learn together! We are going to have a fantastic year!

COVID-19:

We are using Canvas during distance learning.  Each class period has it's own Canvas course, which is where you can find announcements, assignments, zoom links, and teacher communications.
