     Hello Amazing Artists!  

        My name is Mrs. Versdahl, and this is my third school year teaching Art at Cedar Wood Elementary.  In art class it is my goal to help students become mindful artists, make sure they know that MISTAKES ARE OK and an important part of the learning process, and that being creative can be fun. 

    Our projects throughout the year will focus on THE ELEMENTS OF ART and THE PRINCIPLES OF DESIGN using such art mediums as drawing, various forms of painting, printmaking, collage, and clay.

    This is my 16th year of teaching, which has included teaching everything from Preschool all the way up to 5th grade.  When I'm not teaching, I love spending time with my family, including my husband, and my two children - both previous Cedar Wood Elementary students.  I love being part of such a wonderful school community!
