Frequently Asked Questions
Posted by Stacy Robinson on 9/2/2025Beginning of school year FAQ's :)
Do you have Fred Meyer/OSB Certificates?
Yes, I do! Before receiving the certificate, a permission form will need to be signed by a parent or guardian.
· Students can:
· Get the form directly from me (one per CHS student), or
· Grab one form the wall next to my name tag (left of my office door)
· Return the signed form to me. OR if I’m unavailable, give it to office staff to place in my box
· Then I’ll write the certificate and give it to the student as soon as I can.
· Important:
· Certificates are first come, first serve and expire December 1st (use it before)
· It’s the student’s or parent/caregiver’s responsibility to return the form. I won’t be able to follow up individually, so please be sure to bring it back :)
· If you have a non-high school student who needs clothes, please reach out directly to their school to request an Operation School Bell form (Fred Meyer certs are only for high school students)
What about backpacks with school supplies?
We have that, too! You can go to Mr. Adhikari (office next to mine) or myself to ask for a backpack. If neither of us are available, an office staff will help your student get one!
Does my out of district KIT/McKinney-Vento student have bus transportation?
· For the morning route, call the transportation department for the school district you’re living in.
· Afternoon transportation is typically provided by us. First, check your email or voicemail to see if they sent you this information. You can also call our transportation department at 425-385-4144

· Important:
· the youth intake form AND wardrobe pick-up form are required. You only need the hardship form if you DO NOT have a TANF, EBT Card, Apple Health Insurance Card, DSHS paperwork or Free or Reduced lunch paperwork
Free/Reduced Lunch:
· It’s easy to get the free/reduced lunch paperwork from our school district. Requesting Approval Letter for Free/Reduced Meal Eligibility
· If you still need to fill out the F/RL application (yearly): MySchoolApps - Home Page *Be sure to say YES to releasing information to the school! Saying YES allows your student to get a free ASB card, dance tickets, be part of clubs/sports, etc!
