Welcome to Mrs. Polk's class.  I'm looking forward to another fantastic year filled with learning, growing and developing into tomorrow's leaders.

 

I have a Bachelor of Arts in English from The University of Puget Sound and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Central Washington University.  My education is ongoing, though, as I love to learn and continue to take classes that interest me like Spanish, Sign Language and Sailing.  One day I hope to add Scuba Diving to the list!

 

When I'm not in the classroom, I love to spend time with my family which consists of my husband right now because both of our children have gone off to college.  I also enjoy traveling, hiking, reading, cooking and gardening.  I do not enjoy weeding or cleaning, though.
