    Lowell Elementary School Supply List 2023-2024

    Additional supplies may need to be purchased after school starts to accommodate specific teacher needs.




    (Bring to September teacher/parent meeting. These items will be placed in the center of each table for everyone to share)

    1 box of Crayola crayons (24)

    10 glue sticks

    1 large box of tissues

    1 box of colored markers

    1 pair of Fiskar scissors

    1 pkg. yellow pencils #2

    1 Plain (no design) 2 pocket folder

    Backpack or book bag

    1 box quart, gallon or sandwich size zip lock bags

    1 bottle hand sanitizer (unscented)

    1 package of dry erase makers

    1 package of Play-doh

    1 composition notebook

    1 tray of watercolor paints



    First Grade


    Please do not label the following items:

    2+ pink erasers (large)

    2 large boxes of tissues

    2 boxes of crayons (16)

    1 black fine point Sharpie pen

    1 pair of headphones

    1 package of Expo dry erase markers

    1 pair of Fiskar scissors

    1+ package of Baby wipes

    2 wide ruled composition notebooks (not spiral)

    2 packages of #2 Ticonderoga pencils

    1 half-pocket folder

    12+ glue sticks

    1 bottle white Elmer’s glue

    1 watercolor paint set

    1 box of Ziploc gallon baggies

    Unscented Hand Sanitizer

    Optional class supplies: additional glue sticks, Crayola markers.



    Second Grade

    Supplies may be collected and distributed to the whole class.  Please do not put your child’s name on anything.

    1 plastic pencil box

    2 boxes of Crayola crayons (16 or 24)

    2 Pkgs. #2 Ticonderoga pencils – presharpened

    1 pencil sharpener that catches shavings

    3 large pink erasers

    1 pair of safety scissors

    1 – 1 inch three ring binder

    2 large boxes of tissue

    2 packages of baby wipes

    2 pocket folders

    2 packages of markers

    1 Spiral notebook

    1 pair of headphones  

    2 Expo whiteboard pens

    12 Elmer’s purple glue sticks

    1 bottle of sanitizer



    Third Grade

    (All items will be shared, so purchase only what is listed and don’t put names on any items.  Thank you!)

    3 large boxes of tissues

    1 package of glue sticks

    1 box of Crayola crayons 24 count only

    24 Ticonderoga pencils

    2 packages of pink erasers (Not Pencil top erasers)

    2 plain folders with pockets

    3 composition books (wide ruled)

    2 large tubs of disinfecting wipes

    1 bottle of hand sanitizer

    1 box of Zipper baggies (any size)  

    1 personal reusable water bottle

    1 package of dry erase markers

    1 pair of headphones (headphones instead of earbuds with a standard audio jack)



    Fourth Grade  

    5 three-hole punched pocket folders (Mead 5 Star- not plastic

    3 composition notebooks (100 pages, wide-lined, not college ruled

    1 spiral notebooks (70 pages, wide-lined, not college ruled

    1 pkg. wide-lined notebook paper (not college-ruled) 

    36 #2 pencils (Ticonderoga sharpen the best

    Colored pencils 

    Crayons (24 pack) 

    Black extra fine-point Sharpie pen 

    3 Glue sticks 


    1 pencil box /pencil pouch 


    1 large boxes of tissue 

    Over the ear headphones 


    Quart or gallon size Zip-lock baggies

    Fifth Grade

    2 permanent markers, one fine tip and one extra fine tip

    1 or more 2-liter pop bottle for science (NOT curvy like Coke

        brands. We need straight sides. Pepsi and generic bottles are
