  • Voters approving School Construction Bond and Education Levy

    Initial election results are in. As of 4 p.m. on Feb. 11, it appears the School Construction Bond and renewal Education Levy are passing. The bond, which needs 60% of the vote, currently has 63.17% of the vote. The levy, which requires 50% plus one vote to pass, has 63.89% of the vote tonight.

  • Winter i-Ready diagnostic

    The student winter i-ready diagnostic window will be taking place from 12/15/2025 to 2/13/2026 for grades 1 through 8. Parents or Guardians will be able to see the diagnostic results with your i-Ready family code once testing is complete. Check in with your student’s office or your student’s teacher for more details.     Click on the REPORT/ASSISTANCE button on any page on our website. There, you'll discover a variety of resources covering suicide prevention, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, substance abuse, and more. We've also got information on safely storing prescription and over-the-counter medications, as well as firearms and ammunition. Additionally, we offer mental health referrals and guidance on reporting incidents through our safety tip line. Remember, if there's an immediate emergency, call 9-1-1.

    Now enrolling kindergarten students for our Dual Language Spanish Immersion Program at Emerson and Silver Lake elementary schools. Students learn in both English and Spanish, building bilingual, biliterate, and bicultural skills. Marsha Cogdill taught at Lowell for many years, and upon retirement, set up a $1,000 scholarship fund.
