Welcome to Mrs. Weiss's 2nd grade class! I love teaching and am passionate about learning. I graduated from Central Washington University and completed master's work from UW Bothell.  This is my 10th year teaching second grade, and I'll be completing 14 years of teaching in Everett Public Schools, in which I have also taught third and fourth grade. 

I have three children, ranging from a 4th grader to a 20-year-old in trade school. Our family lives in the Sultan area, and we have four pets: three cats named Oliver, Gus, & Gracy and a corgi/husky dog named Lucy. Family is important, and we try to spend most of our time together doing fun things like camping, walking trails, collecting rocks, beach combing, boating, and we love reading. 

I'm looking forward to an exciting new school year of learning, discovery and getting to know the amazing students and families at Lowell.
