    A little about me:

As of the 25-26 school year, it is my 4th year at Lowell Elementary. I have been working as a school counselor for over 5 years now. And I have been working with youth (ranging from k-12) for the past decade. I completed my Masters of Education in School Counseling program and certification in 2019. Prior to my career in education, I served in the Army National Guard for 10 years, and worked in the medical field in my civilian life. I am also the proud mom of my amazing 13-year-old kiddo, as well as a dog mom.

The reason I decided to become a school counselor was because I've lived a life full of adversity and wanted to help our youth gain more access and support toward more successful futures. Essentially, my goal is to be an emotional, social, and academic support for our school body and to assist in bridging the gap within the system of inequities our society is faced with. I am looking forward to supporting many years full of learning, growth, and development with our students, and providing collaboration and community engagement with all stakeholders involved!
