Hello and Welcome to Second Grade!
My name is Amanda Villiott Thomas and I am thrilled to be a member of the wonderful Woodside community!
I grew up in Anacortes, Washington and return there often to visit family and enjoy the natural beauty of Fidalgo Island. I graduated from Western Washington University with Spanish and Political Science degrees and I received my Masters in Elementary Education from the University of Washington with an endorsement in Teaching English Language Learners. Prior to joining the Woodside team, I taught pre-kindergarten in Redmond and literacy in Bellingham.
In my spare time I enjoy hiking, biking, running, reading, yoga and spending time with friends and family.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have and we will work together to make this a great year.
: With the closure of Everett Public Schools, the district has created a website that includes a set of materials intended to support students’ engagement in learning. Please check out the site as it has blurbs and short explanations detailing the resources and login and password information CLICK HERE
