Woodside Elementary School

Hello! Welcome to 5th Grade. I'm so excited to meet you soon! This year, we are going to learn and grow so much together. I hope you are ready! Some things about myself are that I have a big family that lives in all parts of the world including Alaska, Hawaii, Washington, and the Philippines. I live in Everett with my fiance and 2 French bulldogs (Charlie and Lucy). My hobbies are reading, backpacking, and astrophotography. I received both my Bachelor's and Master's degree from Northwest University in Kirkland. I moved to Washington state to play college volleyball and pursue an education in elementary teaching. I currently hold a Master's in Teaching. I enjoy a life of continuous learning.  

I am very excited to have your student in my class this year and am looking forward to a year full of learning, growth, and development. Having the opportunity to be a teacher is truly an honor. I became a teacher because I enjoy building strong connections with my students and their families. I enjoy guiding students to be successful on their own. Children can change the world and what better way to contribute to that fragile stage than mentoring them in the best way possible; academically, socially, and emotionally. I have taught 5th grade for 5 years at Woodside Elementary School. I look forward to meeting you!
