School Closure Information
IMPORTANT: Our spring iReady math/reading diagnostic window for all students is June 1st through June 15th. It is extremely important to ensure your student takes the ready and math diagnostic exams in that window. Thank you!
As you know, schools will be closed for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. I will be communicating with students via Google Classroom. Please ensure that students are getting into Google Classroom every day. If you are trying to sign in to our Google Classroom, you will need to be signed out of other google accounts and use the Studentemail@example.com version of username and the regular district password. I will be uploading daily activities/assignments by 9:00am every day. Beyond the activities that I will be posting in Google Classroom, students are asked to also do:
~ IReady Math
~ IReady Reading
~ Reflex Math
~ AR Tests
~ 30 minutes of reading per day
Below is the link to the district released student engagement materials. This is an AWESOME resource for ALL students and has many activites for students to do in all subject areas.
Hello! My name is Ben Barhanovich (Mr. B) and I am a 5th grade teacher at Madison Elementary. This is my first year at Madison, and I am very excited to be here! I love when kids work together for a common goal. There will be many opportunites for students to collaborate and work together in our classroom. We make mistakes often and learn from them! I attempt to bring energy and enthusiasm into the classroom as often as possible. I look forward to building long lasting relationships with all of you as we embark on a new adventure this year! I am beyond excited to have your child in my class and I look forward to a year full of learning, growth and FUN.
