    Hello families and students,

First of all, I miss you guys!  I hope you are all doing well while we take of ourselves and our community by staying home. As most of you probably know, schools are closed due to the COVID-19 virus through April 24th at this time. I will be posting more activities and maybe, just maybe a video or two, stay tuned!  You can find links to iReady and other Math and English Language Arts (ELA) sites to keep practicing your skills on the Madison website as well as the main district website under Student Engagement materials. Each of you should be working in iReady and READING every day! I have included the link below. I have also included the link to the Madison Library where Ms. Smith has rounded up a great collection of places to explore under the Web Resources page here.  Have you been watching Ms. Overly's story time?  I have and I LOVE it!  We are NEVER to old for read aloud.

I know this is an uncertain time and we all want answers but the most important thing to remember is this:  do your best to follow the guidelines of social distancing and washing your hands and know you are an important part of keeping everyone safe!  Just like in my classroom and all classrooms at Madison, I want you all to think about what you can do that will make you PROUD of yourself at the end of the day, big or small.

    Miss you guys,

    Ms. Martin
