My name is Merriah Sample. I look forward to meeting your family & students this school year. A little about me. This is my 26th year as an Educator and my 18th year working for Everett Public Schools. I started my career in Everett working in the ECEAP Program right here at Madison Elementary as a Family Support Specialist. I have a lot of experience with trauma-informed practices, social emotional learning & connecting & engaging with all students & families. I am honored to work with your student and watch as they learn and grow each year. When I am not at work I love to go to concerts, all things Star Wars and to work in my garden! I look forward to working with and supporting your student(s) & family this upcoming school year.
If you would like to schedule an appointment or have any questions, please email me @ msample@everettsd.org or call @ 425-385-5910
Mrs. Sample
My name is Megan Reinkka, though students usually call me Miss Megan, and I am thrilled to introduce myself as your newest school counselor. I'm a proud graduate of Everett Public Schools (HM Jackson class of 2010) and excited to be joining the Husky family at Madison Elementary where I can give back to the school district that was so influential in my own upbringing. I am at Madison on Mondays, Tuesdays & every other Friday.
I love to connect with and support youth as they develop and mature while using my strength-based, trauma-informed approach. If you step into my counseling office, you'll be greeted by a unique blend of warmth and imagination. It's a space where you can feel comfortable, understood, and inspired to conquer any challenges that come your way. I'm passionate about social justice and am always looking for opportunities to make my practice more equitable as I strive to make the world a more humane place.
When I'm not helping students navigate challenges and celebrate successes, you'll find me immersed in a world of movies or games, snuggled up with my adorable Cavaliar King Charles Spaniel, Tator Tot, or you might spot me in the happiest place on earth-Disneyland!
I'm here to listen, guide and lend a helping hand whenever you need it. I can be reached at mreinikka@everettsd.org or at (425) 385-5933.
Together, we'll make your time at Madison Elementary School the best it can be!
