  • Madison Elementary School, built in 1947, is named after the nation’s fourth president, James Madison (1751-1836). The school was remodeled in 1992. Known as a “community school,” is host to many after school and weekend community events ranging from city league basketball games to community meetings. The staff, students and community are very proud of the their neighborhood learning and gathering place and proud and supportive of students who attend school there.
