Welcome to 1st grade!
I am Paola Sanchez-Lopez and I am thrilled to be starting my fourth year at Emerson Elementary!
First grade is a huge year of growth, and I am eager to support your child as they grow as a confident scholar and community member. This will be my third year teaching in Spanish and I look forward to continue learning alongside your learners! To do this, I’m committed to creating a classroom environment where all feel valued, safe, loved, and supported. In our class, in addition to the academics, we also learn how to be safe, respectful, and responsible members of a classroom community. This means your student will learn how to identify and manage their emotions and develop a sense of empathy for others.
